FinTAL is the fifth in the series of the TAL conferences, following FracTAL (Besançon, France, 1997), VexTAL (Venice, Italy, 1999), PorTAL (Faro, Algarve, Portugal, 2002), and EsTAL (Alicante, Spain, 2004).
